Worker from the Restoration period In mahogany, it opens with a chest revealing a light wood interior with a mirror, compartments and two removable shelves. One has a bronze candlestick and the other a needle stick. Under the belt a drawer. Keyholes in gilded bronze in the form of wreaths of flowers from which spring scrolls and palmettes of foliage. The set rests on four arched legs decorated with palmette motifs and rosettes in gilded bronze. These are connected by an oval-shaped spacer. Bronze clogs in the form of lion paws complete the feet.
