Hunting dog signed Bombled Very beautiful oil on canvas signed Bombled representing a seated hunting dog, most likely a German shorthaired pointer. This dog is finely executed, both for its morphology, the line of the coat and the colors. This painting was cleaned by a restorer approved for the restoration of museum works. The frame is new because this canvas was devoid of it. Dimension of the canvas: Length: 41 cm Height: 33 cm Charles Bombled was born on July 6, 1862 in Chantilly and died in 1927. His full name is: Louis Charles Bombled de Richemont. He is the son of a Dutch painter Karel-Frédérik Bombled (1822-1902). He became a student of Luminir and began exhibiting very early. In 1900, he received the gold medal at the Universal Exhibition in Paris.
