Splendid decorative porcelain plate, made in the Pouyat workshops in Limoges. In the center of our plate, on its basin, a splendid decoration entirely painted by hand representing two trouts on an aquatic background. The wing is entirely decorated with stylized tritons alternating horizontal and vertical reserves, blue in color. The tritones are made with fine gold and many highlights with gold paste adorn the whole. The border of our porcelain is adorned with a wide burnished gold frieze. This remarkable work comes from the Pouyat factory in Limoges and bears the JP / Limoges stamp on its chrome green background, a mark used during the period 1890-1912.
