This superb Macchad has slight traces of wear visible in the photos, it is in good condition The fringes are clean and the wool of wonderful quality, soft and shiny. This very beautiful carpet comes from the province of Mashhad and measures 237 cm wide by 350 cm long. Mechched is the second largest city in Iran located in the Northeast and nicknamed "the city of a thousand faces." This carpet has a very beautiful decoration of a powerful red, large medallion, superb very ornate field. .The colors are bright with a dominant blue and red for the field and white for the medallion and the spandrels.
