- excellent condition for this number 40 of 1973 of the art books published by G. di San Lazzaro - just to point out a little wear at the bottom of the back, on the corner (see photo) and also the joint which is very slightly split - - this is N° 1 of the two special USA editions, this one with 4 lithographs by American artists: Marino Marini - John Friedlander - Robert Motherwell and Jasper Johns - - N° II will also be posted on the Proantic site - - very good texts - apart from the four artists named + above - on Magnelli, Zadkine, Kurt Schwitters, Tapiès, Bury, Kline, Rothko etc . - with multiple illustrations in & out of text in color, as well as an article on Picasso who has just disappeared - - 12 pages on green colored paper at the end of the book with several articles in English on various artists -
