Emile Bou (El Affroun 1908 - L'Union 1989) studied at the fine arts school in Algiers and began to create posters and theater sets.
He established himself as a painter from 1930, with landscapes, seascapes and still lifes.
He took part in numerous exhibitions: Society of Saharan and Orientalist Artists, Union of Artists of North Africa as well as those of French Africa, in Oran, Marrakech, Tunis, Monaco, Bordeaux...
He also exhibits in galleries in Algiers
