The Art Nouveau landscape painting with a reclining nude and his dog Borzoi was executed by the Austrian landscape, portrait, animal and Vedute painter Wilhelm Tupy (1875 Vienna - 1972 Stockholm). He studied in Vienna and worked here and before 1908 to 1927. The artist exhibited his works in the numerous exhibitions of the Viennese Artists' Union Künstlerhaus since 1908.
