Magnificent and luminous oil on panel representing a landscape by the sea with goat or sheep on the picket. Nice calm and relaxing atmosphere. it is the work of Jules Masuré or Mazuré, painter born in 1819 in Braisne (Aisne). Painter of landscapes, seascapes. He was a pupil of Corot and Ary Scheffer. He worked in Saint-Raphael and appeared in the salon of 1849, 1853, 1866, 1869 and 1870 with landscapes, obtaining a medal in 1866. Present in several museums, Bagnols-sur-Cèze, Guéret and Le Havre.
