The Holy Father is represented standing, one knee slightly bent showing slight movement.
The bowed head is topped with the pontifical tiara, the top globe of which is missing.
The right hand, of which only the thumb remains, suggests the gesture of blessing,
while the left holds the central element of what must have been the papal rod.
Period late 16th / early 17th century. HT. 62cm (visible gaps and some fillings.
