Terracotta bust on a pedestal representing a man in a Louis XV wig, the body facing forward and the head turned slightly to the right, a scarf tied around the neck, the hair loose on the shoulders. A lot of realism and movements in this portrait captured on the spot, great finesse of the face. On the right shoulder a signature "Caffieri" suggests that the sculpture is a copy after Jean-Jacques Caffieri, one of the greatest French sculptor (1725-1792) of the Louis XV period.
