Charming little Louis XV style chair, in walnut, made in the second half of the 19th century. It rests on four arched and sculpted legs ending in a winding pattern. The front crosspiece of the belt is carved and decorated with a shell bordered by two acanthus leaves. The top of the rounded backrest is also embellished with a shell framed with foliage and two flowers. The covering fabric is quite recent, it is embossed velvet, with checkered patterns.
