"Folk Art Virgin High Auvergne"
We present a beautiful object of Folk Art, a Virgin seated in a very rustic way in majesty. She has lost the child sitting on her and both hands have been amputated. His head has remnants of polychromy. A very archaic manufacture, work probably elaborate with a knife. Early in time, although popular art is always difficult to date, we believe it to date from the end of the 16th century to the 17th century. (E23)
