""ottoman" Bronze Chandelier, France, Circa 1880"
Large elongated Ottoman style chandelier with two lights, in bronze with double patina. The shaft is embellished with multi-lobed openwork arches evoking Moorish architecture, and adorned with stylized patterns covering the entire chandelier. It is decorated in its center with four facing crescent moons, which can be also found above the small dome resembling a roof and crowning the arches. The light-arm, perpendicular to the shaft and richly decorated, ends with two crowned lampshades in brown pleated silk encircled by a frieze.
