Coming from antique dealer's shed in the Béziers region, here this pair of furniture legs, psyche, screen or console. On rectangular mahogany-veneered feet, sit two beautiful Sphinxes, blackened and gilded wood, awaiting to be used again. These subjects are spectacular and rarely seen...
They are accompanied by two golden tops, (accidents) which seem to have belonged to the same piece of furniture.
Not too damaged, these beautiful sculpted subjects measure 24cm x 16cm x 8cm, and rest on 39cm x 8cm x 5cm pads.
