Letting in its center appear the delicacy of the movement (known as skeleton). The hands are also finely chiseled, Hour and Minute in gilded brass and Date and second hand in blued steel, Movement without striking mechanism with long autonomy. The elegant ornamentation of the Frame in the shape of a lyre in gilded bronze with mercury (original gilding), presents rows of pearls which run all along, Crowned with a mask (of Phoebus Apollo) Housed in a radiant entourage holding a garland of foliage flowers, On the lower part at the beginning of the Frame a harmonious decoration of stylized acanthus leaves. All placed on a white Carrara marble base, this oval base is itself embellished with a row of pearls and a lovely frieze of sublimated Virginia creeper finished with a ribbon bow. In good used condition, sold as is, complete movement to be cleaned, no lack or breakage on the bronze, original gilding and marble in good condition. to note: Old restoration on the annular dial (slit and small lack) and lacks the last second hand which comes over the others in finish.
