Empire bedside table in the shape of a column,
made in Italy in the early 1800s.
Octagonal shaped column with square base,
walnut veneer on poplar wood.
Under the top, a small drawer and a spring-loaded door.
The compartment inside is divided in the center by a shelf.
Restored and polished with shellac.
The measurements indicated are those relating to the base,
the upper octagonal plane has a maximum diagonal of 42cm
