"Madeleine Duteillet Born Lusseau Young Elegant Woman In Hat Watercolor 1900 Art Nouveau Belle époque"
Lovely watercolor on pencil lines representing a young woman from the Belle Epoque wearing a large feathered hat, her shoulders trimmed with fur on a high-necked lace bodice, typical of the fashionable outfit at that time. Signed lower right "M. Lusseau" and dated (19)07. The watercolor is highlighted by its original frame in dark oak and heart stripes in golden structure. Its reverse bears the label of the famous Parisian Maison Robinot "packaging of fine arts" located Rue Vaneau in the 7th, with the mention of the exhibition of the work. To the left of the label, the name of the young lady as well as her address in Paris were unfortunately partly masked by the affixing of this label. Dimension: 50 cm x 33 cm (sheet) 57 cm x 40 cm with its frame Good condition. Never removed from its frame, entirely original work. Some slight traces of seniority; a very small piece of brown paper has slipped to the left towards the center... Many other objects to discover in my stand at the antique fairs in which I take part.
