"Painting XX Country Scene In Provence"
Superb and elegant oil painting on canvas of a late 19th century Provençal landscape. It represents 2 characters (probably a mother and her daughter) under the sun in a meadow, one of them is busy picking while the second is lying in the grass. They are dressed in the characteristic dress of the time, wearing hats and parasols. At the bottom of the millstones of wheat and a wood, in the background we can see the mountains. The colors are bright and bright, it is a quality work in the movement of impressionism in very good condition. Trace of a signature at the bottom right unfortunately illegible, presented in a beautiful frame in carved and patinated wood of time.
