"Louis XVI Period Trumeau"
Elegant trumeau from the Louis XVI period in painted wood, with beautiful moldings in carved and gilded wood (original gilding in good condition) The mercury mirror is framed by sticks flanked by pine cones and surmounted by a crown of laurels. The painted scene representing a couple in a pastoral setting is surrounded by a gilded wooden oval decorated with ribbons and laurel branches in the lower register. Trumeau presented for sale in excellent condition.
