Steel, mother-of-pearl, gilt bronze, leather
Length of blade T. : 100cm - Blade length : 83cm
Pommel divided into facets, each decorated with foliage and pearls. The joint arch is chiseled with laurel leaves and in its middle an ovum surrounded by pearls and finished at its ends as well as the quillon, by an acanthus leaf.
Spindle with mother-of-pearl plates grooved laterally.
Symmetrical keyboard, with a chiselled medallion in the centre with two hands holding a pike and a cap at the end representing the shield of the Republic of Argentina; it is surmounted by a radiant sun and surrounded on one side by laurel leaves and on the other by oak leaves; the whole is flanked by oak leaves.
Triangular blade blued in the third, engraved with bundles of arms and foliage enhanced with gold. Red felt tie.
Leather scabbard with two fittings; chased button cap marked LOUART PARIS; button-finished bolt.
