Oil On Canvas Framed By Beauverie flag

Object description :

"Oil On Canvas Framed By Beauverie"
We present this beautiful and large oil on canvas by Charles BEAUVERIE, famous painter FOREZIEN and our landscape represents a shepherdess with her sheep. It is a bucolic landscape of our Forez plain. Charles BEAUVERIE was born in Lyon in 1839 and died in Poncins (Loire 42) in 1923. He came to live in Poncins after leaving Barbizon in 1886. He knew DAUBIGNY, the Doctor GACHET, he especially learned a lot from the great painter in my RAVIER taste. He rubbed shoulders with MILLET, COROT and COURBET. He was in a Parisian school with MONET, RENOIR and SISLEY which is not nothing. Currently at the museum of Feurs (42) an exhibition is dedicated to him. (E23) Ref. .............Ub395
