"Oak Box Second Empire Period"
Large and beautiful carved and engraved oak box from the Napoleon III period. Resting on four feet, this large casket, probably with shawls, opens from above with a lid decorated with stylized foliage on a matte background and adorned in its center with a count's crown in humpback rod. Equipped with a lock in function with its key, the interior has been entirely dressed in blue and gold paper decorated with chestnut leaves. Object presented for sale perfectly restored, finished in waxed filling.
