"Silver Teapot France Circa 1838"
Circular, flattened silver teapot. It rests on a polylobed pedestal, the belly swollen with melon sides. The cross-shaped handle is fitted with voting booths and a thumb rest. The lid, mounted on a hinge, is domed, it also retains the multi-faceted outline. The socket represents a fruit in full bloom on a corolla of leaves and flowers.
