"Albert Theer (austrian,1815-1902) Portrait Of A Young Lady"
The beautiful portrait of a young woman was executed in 1837 by a renowned Austrian portrait and miniature painter Albert Theer (1815-1902). Brother of another Austrian miniaturist Robert and Adolf Theer, Albert Theer studied at the engraving department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and in 1835 began his career as a miniaturist and lithographer. In Theer's works, one can immediately see the influence of Moritz Michael Daffinger, Austria's most renowned miniaturist painter. From 1835, Theer frequently exhibited his works.
