 A nice Art Déco fireplace, ca.1925, in highly valued Sarancolin marble. Art Déco (1920-1939 'The Rouring Twenties') is characterized by color, geo-metric figures, zig-zag lines and stylized forms, modern artwork designer lighting and furniture and handcrafted accessoires. Art Déco shows luxury in an artistic atmosphere.  The period evokes that moment, when society was breaking with the past and racing towards the future. It ended suddenly, when worldwar II started... Photo's were made before dismantling, now cleaned in my workshop. Easy to re-install. Will be delivered with old, original Carrara marble floortiles, to make a frontfloor.
