Interesting little figurine representing the three-legged toad Jin Chan 金蟾 (jīn chán, literally "golden toad"), also called Chan Chu 蟾蜍 (chánchú, literally "the toad") is also known as "prosperity frog", "toad of prosperity". He is ridden by Liu Hai 刘海, a legendary 10th century Chinese alchemist who discovered the secret of immortality. And rests on a base, decorated with a decoration evoking the waves of a pond.
