Very important eventful and asymmetrical wall cartel in finely chiseled and gilded bronze decorated with palms, foliage, flowers and branches. It is topped with a couple of musicians and two sheep. Escapement and wire movement signed Jean Godde Lainé in Paris. high: 113.5 wide 58.5 Jean Godde received master in 1717 bibliography: a similar model cartel is reproduced in the encyclopedia of the French clock amateur edition, 1997, page 102 and cover, Revised and functional movement, with his keys.
