Maxime Faivre, painter born in Paris on January 6, 1856, is one of the artists of the French school. He had as master the painter Gérôme and became Associate of French Artists from 1886. He appeared at the Salon from 1877 to 1882 and obtained an honorable mention in 1879, and the 3rd class medal in 1884.
