Series of 11 dessert plates in opaque Gien porcelain representing the Patron Saints: Saint Antoine, patron saint of butchers Sainte Cécile, patron saint of musicians Saint Crépin, patron saint of shoemakers Saint Eloy, patron saint of goldsmiths and blacksmiths Saint Fiacre, patron saint of gardeners Sainte Geneviève, patron saint of Paris Saint Joseph, patron saint of carpenters Saint Luc, patron saint of painters Saint Nicolas, patron saint of sailors Saint Vincent, patron saint of winegrowers Saint Vincent de Paul, patron saint of orphans Plates stamped on the back of the stamp from the period 1851-1860 mentioning GIEN - GEOFFROY & Cie - Medal exhibition 1844. Good used condition considering the age, with rare and tiny égrenures. Note a slightly larger shine on the plate representing Saint Anthony (see photo).
