Pair of very rare painted iron sconces, in the tradition of Venetian wrought iron. They are also mentioned in the literature: E.Baccheschi - S. Levy: "Ferri Battuti Italiani", TAV. VIII. The original painting is remarkably well preserved. Louis XVI period, Venice around 1780
