"Old Large Bronze Oil Lamp Louis XVI Rams Athenian Perfume Chain Gouthiére"
Large tripod Louis XVI style lamp, in gilded bronze and brass, richly decorated with rams' heads, hoof feet, the pompoms are connected by chains and surround an openwork housing containing a white opaline reservoir. Formerly electrified, this rare lamp has inside a device for an incense burner which seems incomplete. Some wear of visible gilding and beautiful patina of time, late 19th / early 20th, in the style of the achievements of Pierre Gouthière, taking up all the decorative theme of the Louis XVI style.
