"Mountain Landscape, 20th Century."
This large mountain landscape evokes the grandeur and majesty of the high peaks, on the left is a path materialized by a wooden bridge spanning a torrent, on the right some large fir trees or larches among the greenery in the foreground, then there are the highest peaks in a mineral and snowy universe under a sky where blue illuminates the composition among the clouds that merge with the highest peaks. It is an oil on hardboard panel from the 1930s or 1940s, it bears a signature at the bottom right which seems to us to be "Sablet", we have not found anything about this painter who nevertheless has a technique perfectly mastered on a par with the best .
