Superb very large Louis XVI style fireplace mirror. Model with a very elaborate decorative repertoire. The frame is decorated with large gadroons with a frieze of pearls. On the top and bottom sides, garlands of flowers surmounted by flower urns in the upper part. The pediment in a gendarme's hat carries a sumptuous pediment with a Louis XVI knot with garlands and a bouquet of flowers. The original mirror is bevelled. Very beautiful leaf gilding (a few times). Original parquet flooring as well. This mirror can also be hung above a piece of furniture or a fireplace, but given the dimensions, it would be perfect in a dressing room or a clothing store as a standing mirror.
