Italian Genre Portrait Middle Eastern Beauty At A Well 19th Century Oil Painting

Bedouin girl posing for the painter in late sunlight (sunset). Was painted by Cavaliere Antonio Scognamiglio ca. 1870-1880, most likely in Cairo as similar work of smaller size was inscribed so by artist. His paintings witness him as a master of orientalist genre scene. Seems he worked mainly in Cairo and Algeria.
Size app.: 76 x 49 cm (roughly 30 x 19 in) sells unframed. Very good conserved condition with signs of older restoration and wear along edges (left mostly). Please study good resolution images for overall cosmetic condition. In person actual painting may appear darker or brighter than in our pictures, strictly depending on sufficient light in your environment. Weight of app. 2 kg is going to measure some 4 kg volume weight packed for shipment.
