- Louis XVI polychrome clock with column from the Gien earthenware factory. - Equipped with a baluster base resting on six small feet, this pendulum consists of a cylindrical body, like a column. - On the sides two mascarons crowned with laurels support two pilasters ending in two capitals. - On the front, under the dial, an escutcheon adorned with a trendy decor of birds and surmounted by trompe-l'oeil quivers mixed with rosebuds and forget-me-nots in relief. - Purple and pink shades throughout: fluted, Greek, foliage patterns and floral decoration. - Very slight accents of yellow, green, blue and purple for the flowers in relief. - Presence of its two cassolettes on the sides of the base of the separable clock, which is quite rare, they are often lost or broken. - White enamel dial with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes, Louis XVI hands in gilded brass and bevelled and domed mineral glass. - Movement of Paris, eight days, striking of the hours and half hours at the passage with the letters RC and a caduceus in the middle of the two letters, number 2592 and 55 engraved in hollow on the plate at the back of the clock. - Metal key with the number 3 engraved in the center of the key, height-adjustable pendulum numbered 1304 and bell stamp. - Handwritten Gien 86 holographic signature on the base of the clock in pink. - Movement revised by a watchmaker in perfect working order. - Period late 19th around 1886-1890.
