PRETOT Hippolyte-Edme (1812-1855), born in Paris; married Cyrille-Joséphine Leclercq. He subsequently exercised 16, rue de l'Abbaye in 1836, 11bis, rue Saint-Germain des Près in 1841, and from 1846 3 and 5, rue du Harlay. Shortly after his death, Frédéric Roux bought his company, which was in the meantime managed by cabinetmaker Bassié. He participated in the exhibition in 1849 and the London Exhibition in 1852, where he was awarded a second-class medal for his inlaid furniture.
