George II style solid mahogany chair of Irish origin and Victorian period (19th century). Interlaced backrest, saber rear base and front legs ending in eagle claws enclosing a sphere. Same provenance as the desk presented in another sale with which it was associated. Very good seat with tapestry upholstery in the original petit point.
