Furniture from the NAPOLEON III period, said to be at support height, in blackened pear tree topped with bronze and brass, gilt curved all sides, top in white Carrara marble, interior in mahogany veneer. Interior of door lined with mahogany and rosewood veneer and green stained wood fillets. Signature of DIEHL on the inside plate of the lock.
