"Covered Bowl In Solid Silver Alfred Daubrée"
Vegetable bowl and its lid in solid silver first title Louis XV Rocaille style. The lid is decorated with a radiant sun and a multitude of guilloché Lorraine crosses, the grip handle in foliage and scrolls. The bowl has the same decoration of sun and cross of Lorraine, it has two side handles decorated with foliage. Bears the Minerva hallmark as well as the hallmark of the goldsmith sculptor and jeweler Alfred Daubrée, originally from Nancy, he practiced during the 19th century and ended up settling in Paris rue de Montmartre. An excellent founder, he collaborates with Fratin in particular. He presents his works at the Universal Exhibition of 1867. Weight: 905g
