French Treen: 5 Compartments Spice Box , Woodturning, 18th Century

Coming from an antique dealer's shed in our region: Circular box from turned wood, walnut lid, beech body,  lid unscrews on a central boxwood axis which fits into the turned boxwood apple from above, and releases the hollow round base, compartmentalized in 5 cells, if we count that of the center; a pretty piece of folk art, Dauphiné, Jura Rhône Valley, from  late 18th or early 19th century.
