"Bronze Pendulum "nymph With The Shell" Empire Restoration Period"
Pendulum in gilded bronze and bronze with brown patina representing a young woman in the Antique style, one bare breast, taking water from a scallop shell. Pendulum with white enamel dial with Roman numerals with two characters applied on each side blowing in a conch. Base embellished with a bas relief of young women pulling a chariot on which is seated a winged cupid, holding a laurel wreath in his hand. The sides are embellished with stylized dolphin drops and bearded men's heads. This clock bears the signature on the dial Brin à Paris. Watchmaker listed in the Dictionary of French Watchmakers. This clock has its original movement with wire suspension, it has been revised by our watchmaker and works perfectly. Clock from the Empire Restoration period.
