"Antonio Julius Karl Rose (1828-1911) Alpine Landscape With A Stream"
A romantic landscape with a stream somewhere in the Austrian or Bavarian Alps was executed in 1885 by the listed German landscape painter and marine artist Antonio Julius Karl Rose (1828 Koenigsbrueck by Dresden - 1911 Munich). Worked in Munich, traveled the Bavarian Alps and the Adriatic coast, from where he took his landscape and seascape motifs (he signed this work with A (ntonio) Rose and some pseudonyms.. His works located in Luebeck Behn-Haus; in the Hamilton Palace at Collection Baden-Baden and Louis Juencke.
