The photographs were taken with the windows. The two drawings were part of Jef Codron's exhibition, on the occasion of the centenary of his birth (see label on the back of the paintings).
Jef Codron (Brussels, 1882-1942)
He is a painter, draftsman, engraver and lithographer. He studied at the Academy of Brussels under the direction of Verheyden, Stallaert, Taelemans and Richir. In 1904 and 1907, he passed the entrance examination for the Prix de Rome and registered again for this Prize in 1910. He painted and engraved many urban landscapes (of Brussels), landscapes, coastal views, as well as figures, nudes and floral compositions.
