Jerusalem Cross, Olivier Mother-of-pearl Engraved, All Faces, 18th Century

Beautiful crucifix; carved wood, both sides plated from mother-of-pearl engraved and enhanced of black ink:
Christ and the Virgin on one, on top: cross of Jerusalem,
on second side: under the Holy Spirit dove, a standing Saint, and a holy monk.
5 heads of angels also appear there, and sides are encrusted on either side with instruments of passion and crosses of bone.
Good general condition, small lack of one rosette on top.
Jerusalem, late 18th or early 19th century, item sold to pilgrims or religious congregations
