"Stamped Pafrat And Yon, Mahogany Console, Louis XVI Period"
Elegant half-moon shaped console, in mahogany and mahogany veneer, decorated with friezes of gilded brass beads, opening with a front drawer, adorned with gilt bronze branches and standing on four tapered, fluted and rudenté legs, decorated with gilt bronze asparagus, joined by a white marble tablet surrounded by a gilt bronze astragal decorated with draperies and pompoms, supported by four small tapered and fluted feet (small accidents, a corner of the tablet restored). Some bronzes are monogrammed "JO".

Stamped Jean-Jacques Pafrat, master in Paris in 1785 and François-Antoine Yon, master in Paris in 1783.
