"Dagger Cage Chandelier, Bronze And Crystal, Eight Lights, Napoleon III Period, XIX"
Important illuminating cage chandelier with eight lights, in bronze and crystal, from the Napoleon III period. Our chandelier is composed of various ornamentations of cut crystal pendants. The most ornate pendants are remarkably thick and very large (photos 9 and 10). Some of these pendants are smoked (in amethyst tones, photo 10) This superb and opulent light is also embellished with five imposing daggers, including a central one, measuring 23 cm in height. Finally, an impressive chiseled and faceted crystal ball with a diameter of 9 cm completes the set. Only a few contact scratches are to be noted on the edge of certain pendants (see photo 12) they only concern the pads and remain quite discreet.
