Wooden statue carved in the round and polychromed depicting the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. Late 16th or early 17th century work from the Iberian Peninsula.

Condition report : Good general condition, scattered polychrome losses, loss inside the top of the shoulder left with slit extending to the back. Lack in the center of the crescent located at the base of the statue. Superficial worming on the back, bottom. Scattered old insect bites on the back.
