Beautiful chest of drawers in mahogany and mahogany veneer opening with four front drawers and flanked by two side columns. Topped with a slab of gray Flemish granite with straight edges, it offers a shallow belt drawer surmounting three drawers of the same depth dressed in flamed mahogany veneer on a blond oak background. Two mahogany columns adorned with rings and gilded bronze capitals structure the facade. Beautiful quality bronze ornamentation (keyholes and laurel wreaths above the columns) Dark oak furniture completely restored and presented for sale in perfect condition. Pierre-Antoine Bonnemain, born in 1755, lived in rue traversière in Paris under the Empire. In the spring of 1811 the state made him a fairly large order of furniture in oak and black wood.
