Fernand Hertenberger (1882 - 1970) painter and illustrator born in Rheims, pupil of T.-H. Fleury and Déchenaud, exhibited at the Paris Salon and illustrated several works including Là-Bas by Huysmans and Le Colonel Chabert by Balsac .. an important player in the Art Deco movement, he shared with his brother and artist Claude a house-workshop built by the architect Henri Glaizot in 1921 in the 16th arrondissement of Paris ..frame approximately 46/39 cm
