"Fan Napoleon III Period, 19th China Canton "thousand Faces", Gouache Painting"
Old Cantonese fan Very beautiful decor called "with a thousand faces". Frame in lacquered wood and enhanced with gilding. Paper sheet painted on both sides. The clothes of the characters are in glued silk and the faces in painted ivory 53cm in diameter. Fan presented in a lacquered wooden box. Very good condition. Work from the Canton region for export to Europe, around 1880.
